Teamwork

I miss my blog for a long time. My last post is on 15 Apr.

As usual, some many papers, projects and roundup classes I need to deal with, so there is no time for me to  examine myself and share something on the blog (I totally agree my lecturer said the one use of blog is building  your “self” ). Reviewing this semester is a busy semester I’ve never experienced, mostly because of a course, TV Production.

It is quite interesting that a student who is major on sociology taking a journalism compulsory course:- total different requirement between sociology and journalism (clearly, it is journalism and communication). In short, it is a different on a practical and academic discipline.

Tv pro is a painful course. What you get is only pain but also happy from it. Producing 4 short movies on one semester course is crazy job for a newbie. Except all the techniques I’ve learn from the course, “team work” is a key thing which I’ve been troubling all the time.

Recently, I’ve just realized that what is the most important I need to learn is not knowledge, but a skill for enjoying in doing your job with your teammate. I always do most of the works by myself although doing overnight. Because I always won’t believe others can do what I want to do. I know it is my bad. SO, my group of production is not good (at least from my point of view) comparing to other groups who did their movie by group work.

Group work cannot be done by one. Failure is a disaster particularly when you put much effort on it. I used nearly about one mouth to think about how can I do it better on the third time we screen. But the feedback of my lecturer is only “too complicated” and “don’t understand”. I can only interpret that his taste is different from me. But, is that true?….

p.s. The reason of writing English is just because I want to use it on the moment I wrote.
